  • The New Haven Railroad's Old Colony Division Volume 2 (Liljestrand)

The Old Colony was an independent railroad leased by the New Haven in 1893 to gain access to Boston . The black and white photographs with extensive captions cover from the early steam era to the early to mid diesel era. The book is organized by the various routes out of Boston the division covered. Stations, Locations, Steam Locomotives, early diesels including ALCO DL-109 models are featured .This volume contains numerous photographs of early generation diesels and RDC units which the New Haven used extensively during the mid-20th Century. This is an excellent book for modellers interested in a broad range of New England railroad stations.   Bob's Photo 2005. SB. New. 48pp.  NOS-NHO-CL2
