Numerous B/W photographs of the carriages and the line darwings are reproduced to the scale of 1:76. The text is very very informative, but even some of the line drawings are conjectual going by diagram books that were nothing but text with non scaled sketches. As Mr Weddell points out in this publication drawings of the earlier stock from the time of opening to about the late 1860s earlyish 1870s do not exist or have not survived, in fact the original carriages were never designed by the LSWR, they were bought in from various makers. 1992 Wild Swan Publications. LSWR Passenger stock. Hardcover with dw. Good condition, spine sunned, corners bumped, dusty top edge and slight yellowing to page edges. Scarce. 245pp. K2-3PVD-4LCQ
